DESCRIPTION:Wednesday\, March 29 at 9:00 am. Polypharmacy Program. Are you aware that if you take five or more medications daily you are at an increased risk of unintentional consequences? Sydney Springer\, Pharm.D.\, MS\, BCPS\, BCGP\, is an Assistant Professor at the University of New England School of Pharmacy. Ms. Springer will discuss the pros and cons of Polypharmacy (being prescribed many medications at a time). The Public Health Department staff will also share ways to dispose of medications (safely) that are no longer being taken. Light refreshments will be served.
