Center Stage: Could You Hug A Cactus

Ages 8-10 Based on a collection of whimsical poems by Phillip Van Wagoner, Could You Hug A Cactus? is a new musical revue that follows a group of kids as they come together to create a show that’s bursting with poems and creativity. One by one, they each share their imaginative creations, until a nervous performer panics and refuses to contribute a poem. Can the cast help him shed self-doubt and ignite a creative spark? With a Book by Jessica Penzias and Music and Lyrics by Denver Casado, the team that brought us The Show Must Go Online and Super Happy Awesome News, kids will love the new songs like: Fine Place to Start, Buttons, Words are Words, Inside, and Give My Monster Ice Cream. Session Cost: $500 per child Performance: Saturday, August 21 at 10am on the stage in the Leary Pavilion. Ticket Price: $12 Run Time: 50 minutes with no intermission ** Tickets available only to families of the students **
