Leaf Monoprinting Workshop

About the workshop:  Join us for a creative Leaf Monoprinting Workshop, where you’ll use the vibrant colors and textures of fall leaves and flowers to create unique, one-of-a-kind prints. Guided by artist Allison Donohue, you’ll learn the art of monoprinting, experimenting with natural materials to capture the beauty of the season. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or a beginner, this hands-on workshop is the perfect way to embrace the autumn spirit and create beautiful, nature-inspired artwork to take home. All materials will be provided, just bring your creativity!

Monoprinting is a printmaking technique that creates a single, unique print. By applying ink or paint to a surface and then pressing it onto paper or fabric, the artist produces a one-of-a-kind image that cannot be exactly replicated, making each print truly original.

About the instructor:  Allison works in oils, acrylics and watercolors, and can often be found painting from her canoe in the wilds of Maine. She is passionate about connecting people to the natural world through art. In addition to her work in fine art, she studies natural science illustration through the Yale Peabody Museum, and spends her free time volunteering as a Maine Master Naturalist.
